Want to model for me?
As a photographer, I have a passion for collaborating with models and sharing knowledge. I photograph women aged 18 and up from all walks of life. Experience is a plus but not required.
What do I look for in a model? You don’t need to be perfect but you must be comfortable with your body. You need relatively smooth skin; some things can be covered by makeup or Photoshop.
A natural bust is required; no implants. If you have a very fit body with a small chest, that is okay too. Curves are okay as long is your midriff is tight.
Apply to be an art model in Charleston SC. I train new models and also cast experienced talent. I have time to help a few models develop a portfolio and market themselves. I make my income from selling art books and images, so I do not have to charge the models.
I am currently casting models for Pink Sands, a nude art photo book, that will be published in 2015.
A second-generation artist, I became interested in art through museum visits and other cultural experiences while traveling. My initial training with the figure was life drawing in art school, but photography would become my medium of choice. In the last fifteen years I have photographed a few hundred women.
Nowadays, I create instructional materials for artists and models who are learning nude photography. I strive to create impactful, imaginative photos that celebrate beauty.
