Frequently Asked Questions
Part 1: I want to be a model
What should I expect during a photo shoot?
- Photo shoots warm up with some clothed shots
- Photo shoots require full nudity, similar to Playboy
- I'll discuss my ideas a little before the shoot while testing the lights and choosing wardrobe items
- I'll continue to discuss ideas that evolve as we shoot
- Feel free to throw your own ideas in from time to time
The models on your site are so beautiful how do I know if I measure up?
- Once you apply, I'll decide if you make the cut.
- It's natural to look in the mirror and wonder if you can cut it as a model. Remember that the images you see on my site are only the best ones. They take advantage of careful lighting and camera angles.
What kind of paperwork is required?
- I provide all paperwork
- The model signs a release
- A receipt will show that I've paid you
- If necessary, appropriate tax ID paperwork will be completed. This is usually not necessary unless I hire you for more than three shoots in one year.
Can I bring someone?
- If you want to bring someone when you come to work, you need to mention it before we book the shoot. Don't surprise me after we've already setup the day & time.
- If you want to bring someone, I would like meet the person before we book the shoot.
Is Nudity Required?
How long is a shoot?
- Normally at least three hours, sometimes four.
- We don't have to rush, we can get a lot accomplished in a half day.
- If you want to shoot for more time or less time, we can discuss special situations.
How do I apply?
I applied to be a model, now what?
- Check your email for a confirmation message. if you don't get it you entered your email incorrectly, please go back and try again.
- Reply to the confirmation message, attach your photos. I need to see a face shot (with as little makeup as possible) and a body shot (preferably in a 2-piece)
- If you have additional comments, include them (example if you have a specific shoot in mind you want to do)
I heard you get models into Playboy, Maxim, and other magazines; true or false?
- False. Although some of my models have been published in these magazines, it's because of how they look, not because of something I did. I don't get models into magazines. If that's what you aspire to, you just need to give it a shot.
