In BriefMy work celebrates the female form. In the past twenty years, I have photographed hundreds of models. I have a four-year art degree and Master's degree; and have worked as a professional photographer and a freelance artist. I come from a family of artists. I have traveled to dozens of countries, the cultures of which influence my work. Photography is now my creative outlet, when I shoot it is to shoot what I want. Who I Hire as ModelsI hire and photograph models to create unconventional images. Experience is preferred but not required. Many of my models have experience in modeling, dance, yoga, the arts, or acting. Most who model for me tell me they knew right away after viewing my work that they wanted to do it. Applicants who express this enthusiasm get my first attention. My photography involves nudity similar to Playboy- if you are not open to that please don't contact me about modeling work. Scheduling a Shoot
For your first time modeling for me, it will usually be a Saturday. The rest of my week is regularly booked with other activities. I am free to meet briefly with models during the week in cases where I need more than e-mailed photos to decide if I want to work with you. Compensation to ModelsAll models will be paid the day of the shoot. You also get a CD with copies of the photos for your personal use. I also can give you a free premium account on my modeling portfolio site if you want. Occasionally I allow models to keep wardrobe items.TFP: For 95% of my shoots, I hire the model. However on occasion I will work TFP (time for photos, you get copies of photos but no pay) if I think it will be an interesting shoot. If you don't fit everything above and are still just dying to model for me, I'll listen to you. What the Photos Are Used forI try to get my work published as much as possible. I've created a series of books teaching nude photography. I work with several microstock agencies who market my photos for publication. Photos are occasionally published in print and online magazines, forums, etc. This is a creative outlet for me and only a fraction of the images get published, but models are paid up front regardless. The main benefit of marketing my work is the feedback I get and seeing which images sell the best. I occasionally exhibit.I don't offer private photos; if you want photos just for your boyfriend, look elsewhere. I believe in sharing the beauty. I work with models who want to be seen.

To help me select you, I will ask for two un-retouched photos: One face shot, one body. Snapshots are OK; I just need to know what you look like. I need to know if you have any tattoos, piercings, scars, blemishes, tan lines, or if you have changed your hair or anything else that would cause you not to look like your application photos.
