Archive FAQ
The archive is a password protected area containing images and video from various recent and historical shoots.
What is in the archive?
- Some slightly higher resolution files, alternate crops, and close ups
- Out-takes (unused) images that may be interesting, but not used for final works
- 1,768MB of Behind-the-scenes photos and video (11,330 files).
- Additional nudes that were not appropriate for the main portfolio
- Ability to rate/comment on the photos
Why is the archive password protected?
- So the site doesn't become too heavily trafficked with downloading of high res images
- To allow a look behind the scenes, but to protect less-than-perfect images from wide distribution
- Archived images are interesting, but I only want my most relevant work to be public
- To protect against random viewing of multitudes of nudes
- To protect my working process from unlimited distribution
What are the conditions to view the archive?
- Honor my copyright - that means look but don't copy
- Don't share your password
- Don't post comments that would offend or demean the models
Can I learn from the archive?
- Probably not...
- This is a common misconception, I get a lot of emails asking to view the archive so they can "learn about photography;" I'm posting information here so you don't have to ask.
- There are no photography lessons in the archive.
- The archive mostly contains older works, mostly unedited, so not really something to learn from.
- I did write a book that teaches nude photography if it is your desire to learn to do what I do.
How do I get access?
- If you know me,
- if you want to model for me, (apply first)
- or if you are in the industry, (send me your website and make sure the domain matches your email)
- or can give another compelling reason and agree to the conditions,
- send me a note and I will let you in.
